- Targeting endemic and extremely range restricted species, many only found in a small geographic area:
- Marvelous Spatuletail
- Ochre-fronted Antpitta
- Rusty-tinged Antpitta
- Yellow-scarfed Tanager
- Visiting a number of different sites which are home to these target species, as well as ones with bird photography setups
- Private transport and guide
- Guided by a fluent, English speaking guide from the region for the duration of the trip
Expedition lengths are flexible, and personalised. We can help you create your own itinerary with our knowledge of where to go, what can be seen and the best places to stay.
The expedition begins in the city of Tarapoto, which has daily flights from Lima.
We suggest a minimum of a 7 day expedition, as the first and last day will involve flights, and travelling to get to and from the main area from Tarapoto.
